About Us

The history of the Española Valley Chamber of Commerce, since its original charter in 1963, is one of active participation and interest in the growth of our community and the sustainability of our cultures and traditions. Our invaluable history and our cultural community character is the foundation of who we are, where we came from and where we are going.

Uniting our Cultures to Help Build a Stronger Sustainable Community

The Chamber acts as the main source of information regarding businesses and community issues.  It is a vehicle through which the business and professional people of our community work together to make improvements, build on our cultural strengths and support each other through our tireless efforts to make our Valley the place to live, work and visit.

Together we work for the community and are proactive in finding solutions to any issues that should arise. Our members represent a diverse variety of businesses, organizations, non-profits and cultural traditions. Members come together through everyday interaction, committee and board meetings, training seminars, task forces, and networking to make things happen for our organization and for the community. Chamber members represent The Chamber's Voice.

The Chamber also informs members of legislative changes that could affect their business and hosts public forums on issues which effect local, state, and national economic health.

Strengthen the “Voice of Business”

Collaborative efforts and support for an innovative-based economy creates a synergy to find creative economic development opportunities.  The Chamber is the community champion advocate for businesses.
